Important Information for Participants
Deposit & Payment - A deposit is required to confirm participation; however, full payment is preferred. β¨The exact deposit amount is still being determined.
Special Circumstances - Participants with special circumstances must provide detailed information when registering. β¨If necessary, a remote video assessment with Xu may be arranged to determine suitability.
Health Advisory - People with serious illnesses are advised not to participate. In general, participation is open to everyone, provided there are no specific contraindications.
Terms and Conditions
Deposit & Payment
After registration, a deposit of 3,000 RMB (CNY) per person is required to reserve your place.
1. Down Payment β 3,000 RMB (via PayPal)
Due to increasing difficulties with international bank transfers to China, the 3,000 RMB / CNY deposit is paid via PayPal, sent in US dollars (USD) or euros (EUR), depending on the country you are paying from.

The PayPal payment is sent to Teacher Xuβs account.

Transaction fees, currency conversion differences, and receiving bank charges are automatically deducted.

These fees may vary per person and depend on:

As a result, the amount credited may be slightly lower than 3,000 RMB.
This is a normal part of international payment processing.
This deposit confirms your participation and allows the organizing team in China to plan your room and logistics.
2. PayPal Deposit β Fee & Balance Adjustment
If the 3,000 RMB deposit paid via PayPal is credited in an amount lower than 3,000 RMB due to fees or currency conversion, the difference is acknowledged as part of the payment process.
As a result, the remaining balance payable in China may be slightly higher than 19,000 RMB, depending on the actual amount received after fees.
Any such difference is shared between Teacher Xu and the participant.
No additional payment is required at the deposit stage to compensate for these differences.
3. Remaining Balance β Paid in China (Strongly Recommended)
The remaining balance (at least 19,000 RMB, possibly slightly more as described above) shall be paid in cash in China, in US dollars or euros, at the exchange rate applied locally on the day of payment.
Paying the remaining balance in cash is strongly recommended, as international transfers of larger amounts to China are increasingly complex, unpredictable, and time-consuming.
4. Support If You Prefer Not to Carry Large Amounts of Cash
If you do not feel comfortable carrying a larger amount of cash, please contact Ping for personal support with the payment process.
Ping is of Chinese nationality and is very familiar with local banking and payment procedures.

Payment Notes

RMB and CNY are the same currency (Chinese Yuan).

China does not use IBAN numbers; payments are handled via bank account numbers or UnionPay card numbers.

SWIFT codes function the same as BIC codes in Europe.

Cancellation Policy

Up to three months before the start of the trip: full refund of the deposit
(PayPal, currency conversion, and bank fees are the responsibility of the payer). -
Up to two months before the start of the trip: 50% refund of the deposit.

Up to one month before the start of the trip: 20% refund of the deposit.

Within one month before the start of the trip: no refund of the deposit will be issued.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out

For groups under 10 people: 500 RMB per double room, 900 RMB per single room
(includes breakfast; lunch and dinner not included). -
For groups over 10 people: full board is included.
Maximum Number of Participants
With standard sea-view rooms and double-room occupancy, the hotel can accommodate approximately 120 participants in total (Chinese and international combined).
Additional luxury rooms are available at higher rates for those who wish to upgrade.
Liability Waiver
All participants are required to sign a liability waiver:
βI am voluntarily participating in this study trip and confirm that I am in good health, able to manage my own affairs, and capable of withstanding the demands of long-distance air travel and intensive training. Should any health issues arise during the study trip, the organizers and hosts will not assume any responsibility. Each participant must consult their physician in advance to determine whether their health condition is suitable for participation in this study trip and in Qigong training.β
Photos & Videos
By joining the seminar, participants agree that photos and videos may be taken during the program and used for documentation and promotional purposes (website, flyers, community updates).
If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform the organizers in writing before the seminar begins.
